TORRANCE in BLACK this is a unique model from the collection Stanley Kubrick by Jacques Marie Mage, inspired by one of the most iconic films in cinema history. Shine (The Shining). These are settings that not only invoke the aesthetics of the 1970s, but also celebrate the intellectual coolness, tension and narrative precision characteristic of Stanley Kubrick's work.
The model stands out sculptural, rectangular form with a heavily bevelled top front line that gives the frame a definite, almost architectural feel. These are glasses that balance between academic elegance and subtle anxiety - exactly like the Jack Torrance character from which they take their name.
Variant BLACK made of solid 10-millimetre hardened cellulose acetate In deep, polished black. The double-laminated temples, with transparent outer layers and a black interior, subtly reveal the craftsmanship of the construction and the precision of the finish.
The front of the luminaire is decorated with signature sterling silver spearhead pins, designed specifically for the Kubrick collection. The design is complemented by exposed „Classic” wirecore Palladium-finished, proprietary nine-barrel hinge with engraved hairline details and riveted spur-type elements, also in a palladium finish.
